Akira Muramatsu
京都市生まれ。
京都大学建築学科卒業後、大手住宅メーカーに勤務。
業務の一環として建築写真を教える。
2008年より「旅」×「写真」×「仲間」をテーマとしたamu design 写真教室をスタートさせる。
2018年に独立し、現在延べ生徒数2,000人を超える人気写真教室となる。
2021年、京都芸術大学写真コース卒業制作において受賞。
京都現代写真作家展入選。
2022年、京都、滋賀にて個展。
京都の個展では来客数1,000人超。いままで世界32か国、140か所を歩き廻る。
Akira Muramatsu
Akira Muramatsu was born in Kyoto City.
After graduating from the Department of Architecture,
Kyoto University, worked for a major housing company.
He teaches architectural photography
as part of his work. In 2008, he started the amu design photography class with the theme of
“Travel” x “Photo” x “Friends”.
Independent in 2018, it has become a popular photography
school with a total of over 2,000 students. In 2021, he won an award for the Kyoto University of
the Arts photography course graduation work.
Selected for the Kyoto Contemporary
Photographers Exhibition.In 2022, he held solo exhibitions in Kyoto and Shiga. Over 1,000
visitors at his solo exhibition in Kyoto. So far, he has traveled to 140 places in 32 countries
around the world.
